The 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards – Die Gewinner

Da ich die Verleihung der Golden Globes gestern live geschaut habe, kommt mein Beitrag dazu heute etwas später. Schlaf wird manchmal eben doch nicht unterschätzt.

Vorweg: Es war eine unterhaltsame Veranstaltung mit gut aufgelegten Gastgebern, deren Improvisationstalent auch einige Male zum Tragen kam, sowie einigen Überraschungen bei den Preisen.

Beim Eröffnungsmonolog (sagt man das bei zwei Hosts eigentlich) zeigte sich schon der Ton dieser Veranstaltung. Mit viel Charme begannen Tina Fey und Amy Poehler den Abend, ohne Schärfe und Branchenkritik vermissen zu lassen. Zudem schienen sie ihre talentieren Maskenbildner von SNL mitgebracht zu haben. So haben die im Laufe der Sendung in diversene Verkleidungen die  Nominierten unterwandert.

Am meisten wird heute über die Rede von Jodie Foster geprochen, die den Cecil B. DeMille Award für ihr Filmschaffen bekam. Eloquent macht sie durch die nicht überraschende Anspielung auf ihr Coming Out den Kern ihrer Rede, nämlich den Verlust der Privatssphäre, deutlich.

Die zweifachen Auszeichnungen für Lena Dunham und ihre „girls“ hat mich besonders gefreut. Ein mutiges Stück TV. „Homeland“ hat sonst noch in den TV Kategorien dominiert. Sonst teilten sich die Trophäen gut auf. Aber als Gewinner kann man sicher Ben Afflecks „Argo“ bezeichnen, die in den Sparten „Regie“ und „Bestes Drama“ gewonnen hat. Damit hatte man nicht unbedingt gerechnet.
